This copy has the 7 line copyright notice (first edition has 8 lines, including lithographer s name). Bound in blue boards with a solid blue background on the dustjacket. Internally near fine with very slight foxing on the last page. Boards worn and faded. Jacket worn and a bit soiled, with moderate chips at the spine and front cover head and tail. A good copy of this scarce early Seuss title.
