The binding is tight with no cocking or leaning. Pages are clean with no writing, marks, or bookplates present. A wonderful copy with only slight signs of wear and light toning to boards along hinges. No book is more associated with Steinbeck than his magnum opus for which he won the Pulitzer Prize for fiction. Basis for the award-winning film starring Henry Fonda and Jane Darwell as Ma Joad, for which Darwell won an Academy Award. One of the great works of 20th Century literature.
