Charles William Siemens (1823- ) received his education at the gymnasium of Lubeck, The Art School of Madgeburg, and The University of Gottingen. He became a Naturalized Subject of England in 1859. In 1851 Mr. Siemens introduced his Water-Meter. Between The Years 1856 And 1861, Siemens, in together with his brother, Frederick, Worked Out The Regenerative Gas Furnace.
