Beautiful red stain edges. Rear board joint starting. Under a protective removable mylar cover. Content: Near fine, bright, tight, foxing to rear free endpaper and rare staining. Illustrations: Complete with the wonderful frontispiece and the 7 full-page illustrations. Moderate edgewear, front joint starting, rubbed, minor intermittent thumb-soiling and damp-staining. Very good to near fine, rare in this original condition given age.
