There is a chapter on each state and territory of Mexico, with emphasis on the northern states of Sonora, Sinaloa, Chihuahua, and Durango, Includes plates of City of Durango birds-eye view, smelting works of Durango Mapimi Mining Co., Cerro de Mercado in Durango.

Illustrated with lovely woodcuts and several black & white reproductions. Very good plus in original dark blue cloth, decorated in blind and titled in gilt. Binding square and tight. Pages slightly toned, but otherwise content is near fine fine, with text bright, clean and unmarred. Previous ownership bookplate affixed to front pastedown. Octavo. 6 x 9.5 in. 281, xiii pp. appendix + [viii] pp. adverts. Illustrated with several black & white reproductions. A great copy.
