First Edition, First Printing. Harry Gilmor was a 19th-century Confederate cavalry officer during the American Civil War. He wrote an autobiographical sketch of his role in the Civil War, focusing heavily on the events and raids in Baltimore County in July of 1864. Good+ in original maroon cloth with scuffing and wear to the spine head and edges. Square and tight with no cocking, with some creasing along page hinges. Content clean and unmarried with some foxing and toning per age. Previous owners name on front free endpaper. Overall, a very nice copy, scarce in this original condition.
