First Deluxe Limited Edition thus (undated, 1907). One of 1,000 copies. Complete in six volumes. Finely bound in navy leather, with raised bands and blue boards, lettered and decorated in gilt. Near fine, especially for age. Frontispiece with tissue guard in each volume, with color illustration and descriptive text in red uniquely presented on each tissue guard. With 32 illustrations throughout the set, complete. Only minor foxing or toning throughout. Each novel based on one of the two or three editions published during Austen's lifetime (except for Northanger Abbey and Persuasion, which were based on the first published editions, posthumously in 1818). An absolutely wonderful, bright set in a very attractive binding.
