First Editions, First Printings. Eleven hundred and fifty copies, of which Rhinegold is number 253, and Siegfried is number 113. Each illustrated and signed by Arthur Rackham to limitation leaf. A fantastic set and quite rare, especially in this condition.

Two volumes complete - Volume I - Rhinegold, ix, [1], 159pp, [1], thirty-four color illustrations tipped on to brown paper and Volume II - Siegfried, (published in 1911), ix, [1], 181pp, [3], thirty color illustrations tipped on to brown paper. Original full vellum, gilt to spines and upper covers. Glit tops clean. Spines very clean and bright. Some light spotting to covers, some off setting from brown paper to next text leaf, but generally very bright and clean. Previous owner stamp on inside board, and long with small gift inscription. Each illustration with titled tissue guard. Size: 4to.
